2015년 11월에 있었던 일이라네요. 엄마가 저혈당으로 병원을 가게 됐는데.

경찰이 도착해서 보니

애들이 5명 인거예요.

밥도 안 먹고 있어서

에그 샌드위치랑 과일 만들어서 먹였데요.

다 먹이고 설거지 하고 갔답니다.

저도 앰뷸런스 실려간적 있는데

소방관 5명이 온거예요.

뭐 5명이 다 할일이 없으니.

제가 깨어나는 동안

몇명 밖에나가서 눈 쓸었다고...

저는 네델란드 안 삽니다.

In early November 2015, a heartwarming story emerged from Eindhoven, the Netherlands, showing the compassionate side of law enforcement. A woman had suffered a severe hypoglycemic episode—dangerously low blood sugar—and was rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment. Left behind were her five children, alone at home and understandably shaken by the sudden emergency.

When two local police officers arrived to assist, they quickly realized the children had not eaten. Rather than simply waiting for other family members or social services to arrive, the officers decided to help in a more personal way. They stepped into the kitchen and prepared a simple but comforting meal for the kids: egg sandwiches and fruit.

Their kindness didn’t stop there. After making sure the children were fed, one officer stayed behind to clean up the kitchen, while the other captured the moment with a selfie.
